This Introduction to Handguns course is designed for people with little to no knowledge of handguns, or those who are years out of practice and want a good refresher course starting at the very beginning. We will teach the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for safely owning and handling a handgun. We will be discussing the different types of handguns and how to handle them safely, differences in ammunition and its related safety, and the fundamentals of handgun shooting.

This Basic Handgun course has been developed for the new gun owner and the gun owner who has never had formal training. You will learn how to safely handle, function and operate your handgun (or a handgun provided by us if necessary), re-enforce the safe gun handling skills learned in the Introduction to Handguns course, or build upon previous experience, and become more comfortable and confident in your skills and abilities using your handgun.

This course has been developed for you to learn how to safely and tactically handle a pistol. You will learn the proper stance, grip, breathing, sight picture/alignment, trigger control & follow through, and magazine exchanges. The emphasis in this course is: how to safely conceal carry, tactically and safely deploy and use your handgun to prevent loss of life to you or your loved one when faced with a real threat requiring use of deadly force.

You will learn the proper methods on manipulating your weapon, drawing and shooting from a holster, and magazine exchanges, as well as the legal aspects of when, where, and what justifies the use of force.

Prerequisites: Level 1 Handgun/ECW Course, NO exceptions

The Defensive Handgun 1 course will start with a quick orientation, a refresher of earlier covered principles from prerequisite courses, followed by range time where we will take students beyond basic handgun skills and introduce methods of training to further improve current skills while pushing through barriers to reach a higher level of training. 

These training drills are dependent upon each shooter's specific skillset and abilities.

This course is a one-on-one course with a private instructor.

Prerequisites: Defensive Handgun 1

The Defensive Handgun 2 course will start with a quick orientation, a refresher of earlier covered principles from prerequisite courses, followed by range time where we will pick up from where we left off in Defensive Handgun 1. The goal of this course is to spend a short time refreshing and improving current skills, followed up by taking students out of their comfort zone and pushing them to new levels they didn't know they could reach. 

These training drills are dependent upon each shooter's specific skillset and abilities. 

This course is a one-on-one course with a private instructor.

Not what your parent, spouse, child, sibling, friend, co-worker, gun store guy, or even your instructor says is right for you! Large or small hands, short or long fingers, thick or thin hands... IT HAS TO FIT YOUR HANDS CORRECTLY! A handgun that fits your hands properly will be faster into action, inspire a better mindset, be more efficiently operated, more accurate, and handled much safer than one that is not the correct fit.

Specialty Scenario Training is exactly as it is stated... It is specialty training, based on scenarios very specific to your home, your place of business, etc. In the world we live in today with the rise of home robberies, home invasions, and business robberies, this type of training can save your life!

The goal of this course is to provide you with specific training based on your specific surroundings, i.e., how to navigate your home or place of business in the event of an armed intruder attack, places and/or areas that are advantageous to you and your people, where you DON'T want to be, how to prepare yourself to use deadly force in these locations, and give you a training outline that you can practice anytime you wish.

The goal of this training module is to provide security consulting and training. From initial set up of your security team to advanced training we can help with any need you may have, including: assist in organizing security staff, provide armed security training, active shooter and critical response training, scenario-based training, children’s ministry security, learning how to detect and prevent potential violent threats, and more. Training is also available for unarmed security teams.

This course has been developed specifically for the safety of Real Estate Agents. It is designed to provide training anywhere from the Introduction to Handguns course, all the way through to Defensive Handgun 2 course, as well as some other specialized defensive training. It also includes things like: introduction to situational awareness, when, where, and how to use it, what to look for and how to prevent the majority of attacks, how to move in out and through homes and structures tactically while preparing to use deadly force if needed.

***This training is done in various locations: a classroom, the shooting range, in available homes and structures. The classroom portion can also be done in your office for your entire team***

Proper maintenance is essential!

Contrary to what others may say… “guns are designed to run dirty”, ok... the vehicle you drive is designed to get filthy dirty too… is it best to leave it that way? How about, “The gun runs perfectly fine without any failures, and I haven’t cleaned it in X number of years”, ok... what do you do when that failure happens at the moment you need it most to prevent the loss of life?

Why not change the thinking to, “what is gained by leaving it filthy dirty and bone dry… 30 minutes of your time”? or “I paid $500 - $5000 of hard-earned money for this gun, it is a tool just like my other tools, or like my vehicle, why not take care of it the same”?

The Minimum maintenance is very simple. It is MINIMAL, not thorough whatsoever.

The Regular maintenance is a LITTLE more complex, but much more thorough. 

My life and my family’s life are relying on this gun if that day ever comes, I’m not willing to take short cuts...

This service is offered by the way of an assessment that is specific to your home and covers the 7 layers of securing and protecting your home, starting at the curb and fence line, to the safest place in your home, including introduction to situational awareness. We cover topics like points of entry, securing your home, automated lighting, landscaping around the home, etc. There usually tends to be week areas in every home that simply need to be pointed out and addressed to make your home more secure.

Range Time: 4 hours total, 30-60 minutes safety and handling refresher, followed by live fire on the range. 

Event Cost: $200 per couple

Private group Cost: $75 per hour, per person, minimum 2 couples.

Either way it is a fun way to spend some time together, while getting some safe training, sharpening some skills, and simply enjoying our freedoms!

It's a time to get some well-deserved "me" time! It's a great time for women to fellowship, make new friendships, grow current friendships, learn some new skills, even sharpen skills already in place! Come out to our next Women's Range Day, get some training, enjoy a day with other ladies, and have some fun!

This MantisX Dryfire Training Course is designed for people that want to have the luxury of training in the privacy and comfort of their own home while staying out of the outside elements, saving money on hard to find and expensive ammunition, keeping sharp on skills previously learned in training, etc. The goal of this course is to teach you how to properly setup and use the MantisX training system; including setting up your training parameters, setting all settings applicable to you, setting up your specific handgun, properly mounting the sensor on your gun, as well as interfacing with any other Mantis products you may have.
